Multicultural Action Plan

The Multicultural Queensland - making a world of difference policy was endorsed by the Queensland Government in December 2004. This policy details four strategies, one of which is 'strengthening multiculturalism in the Queensland public sector'. This strategy aims to improve the Government's delivery of services and how it incorporates diversity into its core business. One of the requirements within this strategy is for Queensland Government departments to develop multicultural action plans identifying key priorities and outcomes to be delivered. The 2010-2011 Multicultural Action Plan for Treasury Department ensures the Department remains focussed on current and emerging issues.
