Vision, mission and values

Our vision

Treasury's vision is to improve the quality of life for all Queenslanders and contribute to the Government's key priorities for the community.

These priorities are outlined in the Charter of Social and Fiscal Responsibility.

Our values

Treasury is an organisation that promotes the following values among its staff:

Each Treasury office then contributes to the overall vision through individual vision, mission and values statements. One of Treasury's statutory authorities – the Motor Accident Insurance Commission – also supports the Treasury vision through an individual vision, mission and values statement.

Office of Economic and Statistical Research

Vision
Knowledge leaders for smarter decision making.
Mission
To support Government and community outcomes through our outputs of data, coordination, intelligence and research.

Office of Government Owned Corporations

Vision
To provide high-level quality commercial, strategic and policy advice in relation to the Government's portfolio of Government-owned corporations (GOCs).
Mission
To lead the management of the State’s interests in its GOCs, with a view to encouraging them to strive to achieve market-like returns on that investment, while at the same time ensuring that the GOCs provide high-quality infrastructure and related services, and meet appropriate corporate governance standards.

Office of State Revenue

Motor Accident Insurance Commission

The community of Queensland will benefit from a best practice Motor Accident Insurance Scheme and professional advice on motor accident insurance matters which will meet the needs of its people and government.

To provide an efficient, effective and economical Motor Accident Insurance Scheme which meets the needs of the people of Queensland.
