How to access information

For further information

Information about Queensland Treasury's services and business operations is provided in many of its corporate documents, which are available through our publication scheme.

To access other Queensland Treasury information, you will need to make a formal application under the Right to Information Act 2009 or the Information Privacy Act 2009 (if it relates to your personal information).

Note: The process for making a Right to Information or Information Privacy application replaces the previous Freedom of Information (FOI) process.

Applying directly to Queensland Treasury

You can submit a Right to Information or Information Privacy application directly to Queensland Treasury using the Right to Information and Information Privacy Access Application form (PDF 103 K).

Applying using the Queensland Government's online application form

The Queensland Government provides an online application form which processes applications to any Queensland Government department, including Queensland Treasury (but not to statutory authorities, local governments, Ministers or corporatised bodies). This online facility only accepts credit card payments for any application fees incurred.

Application fee

If the information you request is not related to your personal information, you must pay an application fee of $38. This fee must be paid before your application can be processed. You may also be charged for processing the application and for making copies of documents.
