Graduate alumni

Treasury’s graduate alumni was initiated in 2007 to celebrate the achievements of the graduate program, the participants and their managers. Alumni events are held annually in August.

In 2008, awards were given to staff for outstanding commitment to the graduate program as well as 10 years' service awards.

We also celebrated the fact that six previous program participants had returned to Treasury after periods away undertaking other public sector or private sector employment.

In 2009, awards were given to previous program participants who played a fundamental role in guiding and mentoring our current graduate cohort.

Since the formal program commenced in 1990, Treasury has recruited 295 graduates, meaning, we will employ our 300^th graduate when our next program commences in February 2010.  This is a huge achievement and will be celebrated at next year’s alumni event.
