People management programs

We are proud of the people in our organisation because their diversity and skills maximises Queensland Treasury's ability to meet its business objectives. In recognising the value of our people, we offer a range of programs and services to enhance the career opportunities of all employees.

Advancing careers through education

We encourage our people to move ahead in their career through investing in their further education and training. We support employees who are undertaking formal tertiary study or research projects, through providing financial assistance and leave arrangements.

Sharing knowledge and experience

We have an innovative Mentoring and Networking Program which encourages the professional and personal development of participants, through greater knowledge sharing across Treasury.

Building leadership skills

Building and developing leadership qualities and skills in our staff is a Queensland Treasury focus. Our highly successful Professional Excellence Program provides participants with knowledge and skills in contemporary leadership and management.

Counselling services

We have an independent and confidential counselling service available for Queensland Treasury employees. The service provides short-term personal counselling to assist in managing personal and work related pressures more effectively.
