Advancing careers through education
We encourage our people to move ahead in their career through investing in their further education and training. We support employees who are undertaking formal tertiary study or research projects, through providing financial assistance and leave arrangements.
Sharing knowledge and experience
We encourage the professional and personal development of our staff, through greater knowledge sharing across Treasury and Trade. This includes participation in various networks and communities of practice.
Building leadership skills
Building and developing leadership qualities and skills in our staff is a Queensland Treasury and Trade focus. Our highly successful Professional Excellence Program provides participants with knowledge and skills in contemporary leadership and management.
We have an independent and confidential counselling service available for Queensland Treasury and Trade employees and their immediate family members. The service provides short-term personal counselling to assist in managing personal and work related pressures more effectively. This service is facilitated through PPC Worldwide and is independent, confidential and voluntary.
