Introduction
Queensland Treasury's 2001-02 Annual Report highlights the achievements
and contributions we make to the Queensland Government and to the
business and general community.
Our achievements are presented against strategic priorities, output
performance, financial position and outlooks. This report outlines
our central agency role in assisting the Government to maintain
Queensland's strong economic and fiscal position, as well as our
role in delivering services directly to the community.
The report is structured around our seven outputs and draws on
information from Treasury's strategic plans, business plans, Ministerial
Portfolio Statement, financial statements, State Budget Papers and
information from our stakeholders and staff.
The theme of this year's report is making connections - connections
with Government departments, the community and the Government's
social and fiscal policy priorities.
