Who we are
Queensland Treasury continues to shape solutions for the Queensland Government and the community. Our role is to provide core financial and economic policy advice to the Queensland Government, with the aim of enhancing the State's financial position and economic performance. We also take a lead role in assisting the Government to be accountable and transparent in delivering services to the community.
Our agency is responsible for two statutory authorities, the Motor Accident Insurance Commission and Queensland Treasury Corporation. The performance of these authorities is not detailed in the Treasury Annual Report as they produce independent annual reports. See the inside back cover of this report for information on how to access the annual reports for these authorities.
