Gambling expenditure growth 2001-02 to 2005-06

Analysis: Gambling expenditure is money spent by patrons on various gambling products. State taxation is based on these amounts as they represent the gambling profits of the various gambling operators. While patrons spent more on gaming machines than on other gambling products in 2005-06, the rate of increase has noticeably reduced.
