- Support Government owned corporation shareholding Ministers by evaluating capital expenditure programs for 2008–09 budgeted at $6.2 billion including coal infrastructure expansions and development projects of $1.4 billion. - Refine and enhance survey data collection and analysis for Queensland Government clients to facilitate effective policy making and service delivery. See the Economic and statistical research output section for more details.
- Extend the e-business services of the Revenue Management System to land tax, fuel subsidy and Community Ambulance Cover. See the Taxation output section for more details.
- Integrate the Liquor Licensing Division, Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation and Office of Racing to form the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing. The amalgamation will ensure communities benefit from a more robust regulatory framework and more comprehensive and consistent harm minimisation measures. - Complete an evaluation of the Queensland Responsible Gambling Strategy, identifying how the strategy should change to better reflect today’s social, environmental and technological needs. See the Gambling output section for more details.
