5.3 Brief CBRC on emergent and variations to resourcing requirements (Treasury)

Occasionally, due to urgency or other timing considerations, Ministers will lodge separate Cabinet Budget Review Committee (CBRC) submissions on funding issues outside of the annual Budget processes (for example, at the time of the Mid-Year Review of the Budget).

Where this occurs, Treasury Office branches will brief CBRC on variations to resourcing requirements.

This occurs in the same way as during the annual Budget process, as described in process 3.5.

Next step: 5.4 Make decisions on emergent and variations to resourcing requirements (CBRC)

Previous step: 5.2 Monitor issues and identify risks (agency and whole-of-Government – financial and non-financial) (Treasury)
