Smart Regulation Annual Report
The Queensland Government is committed to a new regulatory reform agenda that builds on previous reform work by simultaneously tackling the quantity of existing regulation and the quality of future regulation. The Smart Regulation Annual Report highlights key Government initiatives that put in place a regulatory environment that supports better economic, social and environmental outcomes for Queensland. Initiatives highlighted focus on increasing efficiency, productivity and competitiveness, making Queensland more attractive to both individuals and business investment.
The Smart Regulation Annual Report replaces the former Red Tape Reduction Stocktake Report and extends the focus from red tape reduction initiatives to regulatory reform more generally. The Annual Report also includes benefits to community and government as well as business.
