Financial Administration and Audit

The Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 sets out the principles to be observed by all Queensland public sector agencies in relation to their financial management and audit practices. Treasury is the administrator for this Act.

Financial Management Standard

The Financial Management Standard provides detailed governance policy to be observed by all public sector agencies. The Standard relates to agencies' financial management, internal controls, risk management strategies, operational planning, user charging, resource management and annual reports. Treasury is the administrator of the Standard.

Both documents can be viewed on the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Council website.
