Charter of Social and Fiscal Responsibility

For further information

The Charter of Social and Fiscal Responsibility outlined the broad objectives and priorities of the Government, and established a framework for assessing the overall performance of the Government in achieving progress towards its objectives. The Charter met one of the requirements of the Financial Administration and Audit Act which Treasury administered.

The Priorities in Progress reports outlined the Government's achievements against the priorities set out in the Charter of Social and Fiscal Responsibility.

In 2009, the Charter of Social and Fiscal Responsibility was replaced by the Government's Toward Q2: Tomorrow's Queensland and the Charter of Fiscal Responsibility.
