Office of State Revenue (OSR)
The Office of State Revenue (OSR) manages Queensland's multi-billion dollar revenue base by administering simple, efficient and equitable revenue management services for State taxes and grant and subsidy schemes. Delivery and administration of state taxation involves the following activities:

Revenue collection services (comprising stamp duty, payroll tax, land tax and miscellaneous taxes) including revenue investigation and revenue debt recovery.

Revenue policy advice, incorporating the provision of policy advice and legislative and ministerial services, to maintain and improve the State’s revenue collection system.

Grant and subsidy schemes administration, comprising the First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) and the Fuel Subsidy Scheme.

Community Ambulance Cover
From 1 July 2003, all Queensland residents are automatically covered for the cost of ambulance services anywhere, anytime, across Australia. Community Ambulance Cover replaces the Queensland Ambulance Service Subscription Scheme and ambulance transport charges to spread the cost of ambulance services across the community.
