Portfolio Services Branches

Portfolio Services delivers and develops corporate service support for Queensland Treasury, within a shared services environment. Our professional and dedicated staff operate as business partners to offices, providing advisory and strategic services to assist the department achieve its business priorities.

Our services

Business Development works with other branches within the office to improve the quality of our services by providing improved coordination and integration of business activities, systems and processes.

Communication and Information ensures that Treasury manages its information in a disciplined and integrated way to improve service delivery. Its services include information strategy and policy, web management, marketing and communication products and services, disaster recovery/business continuity, database management, business intelligence and knowledge management.

Finance provides financial advice and governance to Treasury. It is responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting the department's budget, financial policy and reporting, procurement policy, taxation management and performance reporting. It also manages the State Government's banking contracts.

Information and Communication Technology provides a comprehensive range of ICT services as a core internal strategic and operational business partner for all of Treasury. It manages network operations and provides service desk support and systems development. It also provides facilities, accommodation and telecommunication services.

Workforce Management supports the improvement of workforce management practices in Treasury.  It services include developing and delivering HR policy and strategies, planning, organisational development and performance management capability.
