New Generation Rollingstock project awarded and commenced

Bombardier NGR Consortium, comprising Bombardier Transportation Australia, John Laing, ITOCHU Corporation and Uberior has been awarded and commenced the New Generation Rollingstock project.

Contract announced for Queensland Schools Project

The Queensland Government has announced that Plenary Schools has been chosen to deliver a package of 10 new schools in South East Queensland.

Government Wireless Network Project

On 2 September 2013, the Queensland Government announced Telstra Corporation Limited as the successful bidder for the Government Wireless Network project. Telstra will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Government Wireless Network under a 15-year, managed service arrangement with the State.

1 William Street contractor announced

Cbus Property has secured the contract to develop the $653 million 1 William Street project for the Queensland Government, as announced by Acting Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jeff Seeney and Treasurer and Minister for Trade Tim Nicholls on 21 December 2012.
