Regional Budget Statements

Regional Budget Statements highlight capital works and services that specifically meet the needs of people in Queensland's regions.

Statements are produced for 10 regions of the State: Darling Downs and West Moreton, Far North Queensland, Fitzroy, Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane, Mackay-Whitsunday, North Queensland, Sunshine Coast, Western Queensland and Wide Bay-Burnett. These regions are largely based on the Queensland statistical divisions.

In collaboration with other agencies, Treasury produces the Statements annually as part of the State Budget process. They were first introduced in the State Budget 2002–03.
