Superannuation

The Government Superannuation Office (GSO) provides policy advice, products, and services; manages the State public sector superannuation scheme (QSuper); and administers the superannuation arrangements for Queensland public sector employees, members of the Queensland Parliament, and judges. The GSO also administers the long-service leave entitlements of Queensland Government employees.

The following links provide access to a range of helpful tools, including Fund information, interactive calculators, an investment choice tour, unit prices, and a range of workbooks, fact sheets, and forms to help you understand your, or your employees, superannuation entitlements.

Fund information
Links to information on core Queensland Government arrangements applicable to permanent, temporary, and casual employees. Also includes links to information for members with State or Police accounts, Allocated Pension accounts, or deferred retirement benefits.

Investment returns
Daily unit price information for the range of investment options offered by QSuper to members with Accumulation or Allocated Pension accounts. Also includes unit price history information for the Accumulation and Allocated Pension accounts (since February 1998), and financial year histories and investment objectives information for all QSuper accounts.

Calculators
A range of calculators enabling you to compare your benefits under the different options available to you, estimate your benefit to a particular date, see what contributions are needed to reach your superannuation goal, estimate how long your allocated pension will last, and see how salary sacrificing your super contributions affects your take home pay.

Forms
PDF versions of an extensive range of QSuper's claim, contributions and transfer, and insurance forms.

Publications
PDF versions of books, guides, and factsheets on a range of topics such as investment choice, making contributions, insurance, taxation, retirement preparation, and much more.

Seminars
Information on the wide range of seminars offered to members who are currently working, retired, or considering retirement or taking retrenchment. Also includes links to seminar calendars - so you can find out when QSuper will next be visiting your area, and online seminar registration forms.

Employer
QSuper for employers includes the employer manual - instructions and guidance for all employers who have adopted the standard QSuper arrangements that apply to the core public sector, the employer data collection system ( EDC ), the latest employer related QSuper forms and publications, and employer seminar information.
