Our principles for inclusive recruitment
Three key principles underpin our proactive approach to inclusive recruitments across Queensland Treasury:
- providing flexibility to deliver a more inclusive recruitment process – accommodating reasonable adjustments and enabling applicants to demonstrate their capability by removing barriers to ensure applicants can be assessed and compared fairly on merit
- recognising every individual has unique experiences and strengths – while acknowledging there are some common recruitment practices, we understand there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to recruitment
- ensuring an applicant’s inclusive recruitment experience matches their experience within Queensland Treasury.
