Impact Revenue Investments program

The program provides revenue incentives to help eligible organisations scale, grow sustainably, and amplify their social impact.

Funding of up to $200,000 is offered, including:

• an initial upfront payment of $30,000
• a second payment of up to $70,000, based on trading revenue growth during the 2027–28 financial year ($4 in funding for every $10 in trading revenue growth)
• a third payment of up to $100,000, based on trading revenue growth during the 2028–29 financial year ($2 in funding for every $10 in trading revenue growth).

Funding is flexible, allowing organisations to allocate funding toward operational or capital expenses as needed. Structured capability support will also be made available as part of the program to support organisations to succeed.

Application process and key dates

The application process involves 2 stages.

Stage 1

Applicants must submit a short-form application (expression of interest) online via Smarty Grants. This initial application is streamlined to minimise administrative effort for organisations applying for funding.

• Opens – 10:00am AEST Thursday 1 October 2026.
• Closes – 11:59pm AEST Sunday 1 November 2026.

Outcomes notified on Friday 4 December 2026*.

Information webinars are open for registration:

• Register for webinar – 2 pm AEST Wednesday 7 October 2026.
• Register for webinar – 11 am AEST Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Stage 2

Applicants (by invitation only) submit a long-form application online via Smarty grants. This application requires additional details, supporting documentation and evidence to verify information supplied in Stage 1.

By invitation only:

• Opens – 10:00am AEST on Monday 7 December 2026*.
• Closes – 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 14 February 2027*.
