Queensland Budget

The 2019-20 Queensland Budget was tabled in State Parliament on Tuesday 11 June 2019.

Queensland Treasury prepares the Queensland Budget for the government every financial year.

The budget outlines the government’s revenue and expenses for the coming year, provides an overview of the state economy, and details the priorities the government will deliver.

The 2019-20 State Budget is backing Queensland jobs, creating secure job opportunities to support Queenslanders and their families and investing in job generating infrastructure, as well as delivering better, essential frontline services.

The Queensland Budget website provides access to the 2019-20 Budget papers and related information.

Budget papers from previous years (2000-01 onwards), including the 2018-19 Budget papers, can be accessed from the Treasury website.

Treasury also reports on the State’s economic and fiscal position in a mid-year review, as well as preparing a Report onState Finances at the close of each financial year.
