Genpact

Professional services company Genpact plans to expand its Australian presence on the Sunshine Coast, employing 250 Queenslanders over the course of the next five years.

Genpact, one of the world’s leading professional services companies, plans to expand its Australian presence, thanks to support from the Invested in Queensland program and Sunshine Coast Council.

Following discussions with the Treasury Investment team, facilitated by Trade and Investment Queensland and Austrade, Genpact chose the Sunshine Coast as the place to be.

Genpact employs more than 115,000 people in over 30 countries worldwide, providing professional services to clients across banking, insurance, retail, hi-tech, manufacturing, consumer goods and health care.

Genpact is aiming to employ 250 Queenslanders over the course of the next five years, across finance, insurance, IT, and administration roles.

New employees will be able to capitalise on the Sunshine State’s great lifestyle and state-of-the-art communications network as Genpact enables staff to work primarily from the Sunshine Coast, while it expands its client base.

Genpact’s selection of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is another boost for the state’s growing financial and professional services sector, delivering more local jobs and flexibility for its employees.
